The New York State Association for Bilingual Education
cordially invites you to
NYSABE’s 44th conference to be held virtually focusing on social, emotional and educational issues faced by our multilingual learners and their families. Thus, NYSABE will be dedicating April 4-6, 2022 to our multilingual communities with workshops, speakers and informational sessions pertaining to our conference theme. During the main conference, April 7-9, 2022, participants will have the opportunity to attend sessions addressing bilingual/bicultural approaches, inclusive instructional practices, culturally and linguistically responsive/sustaining education, cultural perspectives and much more. In addition, goal setting approaches and resources for bilingual education program models, including Dual Language and Special Education, will be presented.
The conference program will also include a Leadership Strand for current and prospective educators in leadership roles seeking to learn more on effective programs for multilingual learners. This strand will offer inspiring direction for educational leaders, researchers, and other stakeholders involved in the education of multilingual learners.
